Central Electricity Supply Company of Odisha Limited was restructured into Central Electricity Supply Utility of Odisha (CESU) and was started on 1999 in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. CESU is government of Odisha initiative which is responsible for power Generation, Transmission and distribution in entire districts. CESU further divided into four companies i.e. Central Electricity Supply Company of Odisha Ltd. (CESCO), North Eastern Electricity Supply Company of Odisha Limited (NESCO), The Southern Electricity Supply Company Of Odisha Limited (SOUTHCO) and Western Electricity Supply Company of Orissa Limited (WESCO). Each individual unit is responsible for distribution and retail supply business of electricity in respective regions in Odisha. All distribution companies started accepting the online payments of electricity bills from Northen, Southern, Central and Western areas of Odisha.
