The vision of higher education is to make Haryana state is a knowledge-based community by fueling its Higher Education landscape to respond to both local and global challenges and also to create a culture of quality and excellent atmosphere at an individual and institutional level in all aspects of Higher Education.

As we all know education and especially higher education has been a critical component of bringing change in our society and a nation. To address few major issues like accessibility, quality and infrastructure has been a prime concern for the Haryana State Government. The government has taken major extensive steps for improving quality higher education, to increase the Gross Enrollment Ratio (GER) and to produce better students who are able to take the global challenges.

Higher Education Improvement Plans in Haryana:

Improve basic infrastructure in colleges of Haryana state
Ensure proper environment for establishment of private colleges (modify norms for recognition).
Fill all the vacancies of teachers.

Improvement the Physical Infrastructure in all Haryana Colleges:

Ensure full strength of teachers, and for current session, fill vacancies on contractual basis
Need to allow aided colleges to fill up the vacant posts
Teachers attendance is must
No foreign leave to be allowed to teachers during session and no transfers to be there during session
Teachers not be assigned any other duties (except statutory) during college hours
Improve libraries, science labs with modern equipment's
Eliminate the bogus enrollment of students
Haryana Government improves sports infrastructure in colleges
Improve Soft Skills of College students, so as to improve their employability, particularly in the IT/ITES sector
For better motivation announce the scholarships for Topper students
Higher focus on Teacher Training, in their own subject, computers and English
Establishment of EDUSAT Network for Teacher Training, teaching of Math, English and Science etc
Always better to encourage Guest Faculty lectures in Colleges for setting up the placements in the Govt. Colleges
Encourage State Universities to start new courses in emerging technologies
