Khajane is the Karnataka treasury system maintained by Government of Karnataka, makes easier to manage all 216 treasury offices. With Khajane all treasury offices are connected to single server at the secretariat office. Finance Department of Karnataka Government kick start the Project Khajane 2 to integrate and automate all Financial Operations of the Government of Karnataka. Khajane2 provides a common electronic platform for all the internal and external partners namely state government departments, RBI, AG Office, Banks, Post offices, CPSMS, HRMS, DSSP, etc.

The Chief Controlling Officer (CCO), Controlling Officer (CO), and Drawing and Disbursing Officer (DDO) will execute their financial transactions such as Salaries, Bill Preparation, Bill Submission to Treasuries, Budget Release and Control, Remittances, Deposits, and Reconciliation of Receipts and Payments etc., in Khajane-II application.
